Summary

Looking for a 1 to 2 minute monologue for an audition, a class, or a presentation? This book is for you! Playwright/author/actor Betsy Franco wrote 21 monologues, and they were filmed by her son James Franco for an art installation.Betsy was inspired to write the monologues after holding auditions for her play Metamorphosis, Junior Year. She culled from her plays, screenplays, and novels (both published and in development) and used her experience as an actor to compile the collection. Betsy worked closely with teens from the Palo Alto Teen Arts Council to ensure the book would contain useful, relevant and compelling material.
