Author Biography

Charles F. Spence, a general aviation pilot for 47 years is the Capitol Hill reporter for General Aviation News and a veteran aviation and public relations professional. Mr. Spence has also been the Senior Vice President of Communications for the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) for 15 years. He has edited AIM/FAR for McGraw-Hill since 1996.
