Summary

The publication of Antología general de la poesía mexicana is meant to fill an evident void in this genre, by undertaking and realizing a project that offers the broadest panorama of Mexican poetry: two volumes with a total of more than 1,800 pages that host and disseminate, among the broadest public, the works of 278 authors, from pre-Hispanic times to the most recent generations. In this book, the reader has access to a portable volume of the general version: a sample with the work of the indispensable and, therefore, essential authors of our lyric, from Nezahualcóyotl and Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, passing through Novo, Villaurrutia, Pellicer, Paz, Sabines, Pacheco and Lizalde, until we get to the most recent authors whose work already has a significant appreciation by critics and readers.?
