Andrew Crane is George R. Gardiner Professor of Business Ethics and Director of the Centre of Excellence in Responsible Business at the Schulich School of Business at York University. His work has been published in many journals including the Academy of Management Review, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Business Research, and Organization Studies.

Dirk Matten is Hewlett-Packard Chair in Corporate Social Responsibility at the Schulich School of Business at York University. His work has been published in leading journals like the Academy of Management Review, Journal of Management Studies, Human Relations, Journal of Business Ethics, and Organization Studies.
