Summary

This atmospheric, highly illustrated book captures the spirit of Charles Dickens's classic holiday novel. Here, the timeless tale of Ebenezer Scrooge's Christmas night encounter with three ghosts--and his transformation from miserable miser to warmhearted benefactor--is enhanced with stunning additional features: flaps, including one that opens to reveal Scrooge's past; a large pop-up of the Ghost of Christmas Present surrounded by gifts; a tucked-in booklet of Christmas party games; pull tabs, and more. Magnificent artwork and cleverly researched photographs recreate the vibrant yet sometimes dark characters of Dickens's London.
