Author Biography

One of the most influential mathematicians of his era, Georg Friedrich Bernhard Riemann (1826–66) made profound contributions to several areas of mathematics, including analysis, number theory, and differential geometry. His work in the field of differential geometry established the mathematics of general relativity.
