Author Biography

Joe Stahlkuppe is a widely read pet columnist, author and freelance magazine writer. A lifelong fan of purebred dogs, he has written over a dozen books, a few of them Barron's Pet Owner Manuals. Joe, an ordained clergyman, is also pastor of a small church in an old mining community in Alabama and is involved with a weekly pet radio show. He lives on a small farm in Jefferson County, Alabama with his wife Cathie. A pet and fundraiser consultant, he divides his time between his work and his three grandchildren-Anne Catherine, Peter, and Julia.
