The Holy Spirit Journal Fasting for Purpose, Transformation, and Breakthrough

Consider things you might give up that would help you be your best self. What are some things prioritizing your time from God that you can cut out? What are some things you may be struggling with?
Allow the Holy Spirit to guide you as you work through fasting and praying. Take time to mentally acknowledge who God is, what He is revealing, and who you are as a child of God. You are covered in God's grace and peace. Chosen, destined, and adopted. Redeemed, forgiven, and free from sin. You're covered in the wisdom of the Holy Spirit that lives within you. Keep your prayer list with the biggest needs available and pray fervently during your fast over the list daily. Start each morning in the word of God, meditating on it, and giving thanks.
Take time each day to do acts of kindness and pray for others. As you are tempted by sin to break your commitment of abstinence and have moments of weakness, instead of allowing the flesh to win; pray and spend time with God, be in the word of God, turn on worship music, and engage in activities that feed your spirit. Fasting with prayer should be a life-long discipline practiced regularly for restoration and maximum intimacy with God; advancing us forward purposefully with divine intervention and the ability to fully use the gifts God has blessed us with.
