Author Biography

Derek Ball is President and CEO of Sonic Mobility, Inc. (www.sonicmobility.com), a company focused on delivering solutions for handheld wireless devices such as the HP iPAQ. Derek has published nine other books on technology topics and has traveled the world speaking at conferences and seminars on emerging technology. In between trips, Derek lives in Calgary with his wife, Lesley, daughters Jamie and Carly, and golden retriever, Casey. Barry Shilmover is the Chief Technical Officer for Sonic Mobility, Inc. Barry has published many books on system administration, network management, security, and mobile computing topics. Barry is an MCSE and has worked for many well-known technology companies including Microsoft. When not traveling throughout North America speaking and training, Barry lives in Calgary with his wife, Shawna, and their two boys, Jory and Conor.
