Sean Callery originally trained and worked as a journalist before he became an elementary school teacher. He writes both fiction and nonfiction and has written over sixty books for children. He has a particular passion for history and has a knack for mining little tantalising nuggets of information that you might have missed before. 

Donough O’Malley is an Irish illustrator and designer currently based in the UK. He has over seventeen year’s experience working for clients in a wide variety of areas such as editorial, advertising, fiction, and children’s picture books.
