Journey of an Accidental Artist is about the spiritual journey of healing through which Selena finds her gift of art and soul purpose. After the passing of her mother, Selena questions life and death. Through her grief, she explores channeling the afterlife, past lives, soul families, energy healing and intuitive healing arts. Selena discovers that she can paint and within two years, she has created over 200 paintings and is exhibiting and selling at festivals, tradeshows, holistic spas, gift stores, cafes and galleries. The divine synchronicities that guide her on her journey to meet her soul tribe and bloom into an artist is amazing. Selena shows how the cathartic process of of creating art in a sacred space can stimulate self-discovery and healing. The chapters are filled with black and white illustrations of her paintings that correspond with her journey. The story will inspire you to realize there is more to us than our physical being; that we can co-create a happy fulfilling life before crossing over to the other side.

Selena is a West Coast Artist and Storyteller specializing in fluid painting and acrylic pour abstracts. Her art is compiled of paintings, resin artwork, and unique gift items inspired by nature and spiritual beauty. Selena is a self-taught artist who recently discovered her painting passion after her mother passed away. The painting became an outlet of her creative expression for healing called intuitive healing arts. Selena's art is exhibited and available at retail stores, holistic spas, medical clinics, artisan markets and galleries.

In addition to painting and writing, Selena works as a corporate sales manager for a technology company and has a degree in Economics from Simon Fraser University.

Selena is a mother of two amazing sons and lives with her husband of 30 years. With a successful career in the corporate world, she pursues a spiritual path of healing and growth filled with meditation, yoga, kayaking, Zumba, writing, painting, and mystical exploration.

Selena was born in London, England and currently lives in Langley, B.C. Canada.
