Maia F. Miret is an industrial designer, a translator, and an editor. She is in charge of Libros del Escarabajo, a publishing company devoted to natural and social science communication. She is the author of various books in her native Spanish, including La Evolución and El Genoma. Mariana Castillo Deball is a conceptual artist whose work has appeared in many group and individual exhibitions.
