Summary

This really is the new Bible on mayflies. It's more than a step forward in fly-fishing knowledge. It leaps over the old reliable compendia on mayflies to include all the latest information from anglers and professional entomologists alike.

Author Biography

Malcolm Knopp's passion for angling began when he was a boy living in London's East End. A career in the oil industry brought him to Canada, and in his extensive fishing travels across North America he marveled at the diversity of the insect life he discovered. His meticulously kept notes on all aquatic insects, particularly mayflies, formed the background for this book. Knopp lives in Alberta with his family Robert Cormier started fly fishing in northern Ontario as a youth, developing a devotion to trout fishing and aquatic entomology that has continued through fishing excursions across the continent. The painstakingly accurate illustrations of mayflies and the flawlessly tied flies in this book are his creations. Cormier lives in Alberta with his wife and son
