Microsoft has recently revamped its MCSD program. In order to obtain their MCSD, candidates are required to pass four exams-three core exams and one elective exam. All of the core exams are new tests as are many of the electives. Microsoft is putting a huge push behind increasing the number of MCSDs worldwide, and will be putting a significant marketing effort behind the MCSD program.
