Author Biography
Rodney F. Boyer is Professor of Chemistry at Hope College in Holland, Michigan. He received his B.A. in Chemistry and Mathematics from Westmar College, his M.S. in Organic Chemistry and his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry with a minor in Biochemistry from Colorado State University. Boyer was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Michigan Medical School in the Department of Biological Chemistry. He has served as an American Cancer Society Scholar and Visiting Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Boyer is a member of professional organizations including the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, the American Chemical Society and the Council on Undergraduate Research. He has directed numerous research and department grants and has authored a number of journal articles and book reviews.
