Author Biography

James Lincoln Collier and Christopher Collier have co-authored eight historical novels for young adults, including The Bloody Country, Who is Carrie?, and With Every Drop of Blood. Christopher, a professor who specializes in early American history, provides the historical theme and framework for the novels. His brother, James, a musician, editor, and writer, gives life to the characters and plot. The Collier brothers have also collaborated on more than two dozen nonfiction works for young people in the "Drama of American History" series. James Lincoln Collier lives in New York City. Christopher Collier lives in Orange, Connecticut.
