Author Biography

Alice Ferrebe is Senior Lecturer in English at Liverpool John Moores University, UK. She is the author of Masculinity in Male-Authored Fiction 1950-2000 and the sixth volume of The Edinburgh History of Twentieth-Century Literature in Britain, 1950-1960: Good, Brave Causes. She teaches a number of gender-related literary modules. Fiona Tolan is Senior Lecturer in English at Liverpool John Moores University, UK. She is the author of Margaret Atwood: Feminism and Fiction (2007), and the co-editor of Writers Talk: Conversations with Contemporary British Novelists (2008). She is also an Associate Editor of the Journal of Postcolonial Writing.
