Summary

Theodore Roosevelt was the single-most dominant figure in American life for nearly two decades. This book demonstrates and explains his renown through a selection of Puck Magazine covers featuring President Roosevelt, accompanied by explanatory essays by Dr. J. David Valaik.

Author Biography

J. David Valaik is the author of numerous scholarly articles and essays, and was been a member of the Board of Trustees for the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural Site Foundation for more than a decade. There have been moments when, sporting a genuine mustache, he was deemed a real Roosevelt lookalike, a comparison he much appreciated.
