Untameable Heart

Do you sense that something is deeply wrong with the current model of the Church? Do you fear that you would be labeled a heretic if you expressed the genuine cries of your heart? With the dawning of the Postmodern Era, the resistance of the Modern Church to adapt to a new season has rendered it irrelevant and unable to communicate to a world starving for Truth. Trite programs, exclusivity and a stubborn pretense of manufactured holiness have all tarnished the Gospel beyond recognition. The good news is that Christ Followers are rising up, working diligently to mend the ailments with which Modernity left us. A brighter day lies ahead, and the Church will again go forth as the hands and feet of Jesus. It is my hope and prayer that Untameable Heart: Confessions of an Emergent Christ Follower will inspire you to join me in the fight to recover all that is good and true about the Body of Christ.
