Author Biography

Kathy and Andy have been a team and an outdoor force to reckon with for over 12 years. Both enjoy and love, being in the out-of-doors. Andy Lightbody is a lifelong outdoorsman and sportsman. An avid downhill and cross-country skier, he has traveled all around Colorado and skied almost all of the trails described in Winter Trails Colorado. Lightbody is an enthusiastic angler, hunter, and conservationist and a frequent writer/contributor to many outdoors publications and internet sites. Kathy Mattoon came from Oklahoma to the high mountains of Colorado and embraced all that this state has to offer anyone who loves the out-of-doors. She enjoys photography and video opportunities. Wounded in a hunting accident in 2006 and with limited mobility, Kat still enjoys "taking her time" while trekking, fishing, and hunting. As many say about "Ms. Kat," when the hunting and fishing adventure is over, she is exceptional at cooking and preparing wild game and fish for all her family and friends.
