The range of pronunciations and meanings, or the detailed information relevant for a very small area included under Eck, Ege, Eher and Ei support the relevant description of its meaning or clarify, as, for example in the case of Eidechse, the numerous folk etymological reinterpretations of the pronunciation, which have in some instances produced taboos. The variants of pronunciation and meaning of the adverb or the conjunction e ehe, ehedem including the comparative forms eer, eent, eenter and the superlative eest, eentest, erst are mapped by region and over time.
